What you will be doing:

As a Technical Support Engineer you will drive the execution of the V&V IT strategy by delivering digital solutions that enhance business performance and meet user needs including: fixing, improving and / or transforming current digital capability in accordance with the V&V IT systems roadmap.

Capture and maintain customer requirements throughout the solution lifecycle
Develop and evaluate system concepts using systems engineering methods
Identify and mitigate risks through RRMS processes
Define system architecture and solutions aligned with business objectives
Lead design reviews with Technical Councils and High-Spots
Create and manage system verification plans
Coordinate system implementation and modifications to meet customer goals
Collaborate with testing teams and engineers to support product validation
Monitor system health and schedule maintenance activities
Investigate and resolve system issues affecting test operations
Track system obsolescence and contribute to improvement planning

In addition, the following role specific skills are preferred

Degree level in Engineering or equivalent
Experience in relevant domain is preferred but not essential
Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
An understanding in calibration and metrology to support Rolls Royce in engine testing,
